About the lesson

As a Lebanese American film theorist with an extensive and diverse educational background, I offer a unique and enriching learning experience that goes beyond traditional film studies. With a Master’s degree in Film Studies from Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest and a Bachelor’s degree in Cinema and Television from the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik in Beirut, I bring a global perspective to film theory and analysis.

Moreover, my specialized training in gender, women, and film studies from prestigious institutions like the University of Copenhagen, Stanford University, Johns Hopkins University, and the University of London allows me to provide a nuanced understanding of the complex interplay between film, culture, and gender. This multidisciplinary approach ensures that my lessons are not only academically rigorous but also relevant to contemporary issues in film and media.

By taking my lessons, students will benefit from:

1. Expert Guidance: Learn from a seasoned film theorist with a rich academic and practical background in film studies.
2. Global Perspective: Gain insights from my international educational experiences in Hungary, Lebanon, and beyond.
3. Interdisciplinary Approach: Explore film through the lenses of gender, culture, and societal impact, informed by my specialized certifications.
4. Critical Thinking: Develop strong analytical skills that will enhance your ability to critically engage with films and media.
5. Engaging Content: Participate in dynamic and interactive lessons designed to foster a deep appreciation and understanding of film.

Join my classes to embark on a transformative educational journey that will not only enhance your knowledge of film theory but also empower you to critically analyze and appreciate the cinematic world in a more profound way.
