About Thomas
I am a patient and compassionate instructor that believes that learning a language can and should be fun. I have been teaching language for nearly ten years. I enjoy working closely with students to build their confidence whether in speaking, writing, and understanding French, or reading a difficult Latin author.

I am comfortable using most Latin teaching methods and approaches for beginners; for intermediate and advanced students, I am happy to offer private courses on any author or period. For French, I can tutor any period or aspect of the language. I cater my instruction entirely to student needs.
I have been teaching Latin in the Latin/Greek Institute's 10-week intensive program for over five years, and I have taught French at NYU, CUNY, and the University of Oxford to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as offering individual instruction and tutoring to middle and high-school students, and interested adults of all ages.
