About Ken

In the course of my professional life; the most satisfaction and joy I have received has transpired through teaching and training. I am so rewarded when I see that moment of clarity in someone's eyes when they put into practice a concept or an idea and it comes to fruition for them. My diverse background in culinary, business and education ; while all different disciplines and niches, all share that in common and I have had countless individuals share positive feedback for me. "First, do it right, then fast." Second, eat an elephant, one bite at a time..."
I am personable, patient and without judgement ; only compassion.

About the lesson

I strive to understand an individual's personal style of learning comprehension that best suits them specifically. Boiler plating may have "worked" years ago but focused approaches are the true way for each student. One method I have found to be effective is utilizing analogies , metaphors and other comprehensive methodologies that help illustrate a problem, concept or challenge. Real world comparisons often dilute and define more complex formulae making assimilation more user friendly . This also provides a platform that is more enjoyable and creates an opportunity for less resistance that may exist in more standardized teaching
