About Mackenzie
Ever since I was young, I have had a strong passion for reading and writing. This came with complications though as at 6 years old I was diagnosed with dyslexia and ADHD. This didn't stop me though. It inspired me to keep pushing past my disabilities and embrace my love for these subjects even deeper. In 4th and 5th grade I became captain of my school's Reading Olympics tournaments. Eventually, I started tutoring my peers in 2016, and carried that into my adulthood. My senior year of high school I decided to pursue a degree in English, there I focused in on my writing. I joined an editorial staff for the Warren Literary Journal, and have several of my works published professionally.

My goal ultimately is to create a safe learning environment where mistakes are encouraged. Together, we will learn how to grow from them.
My lessons are for any level of writer or reader. From young kids who are just beginning to adults who want to advance their current skills—and anyone in between.
