About Ritvik

My name is Ritvik Mekala, BA Classics Student at University College London Academic Background:
Educated at Cumnor House Prep and Charterhouse School , Godalming as a Classics Scholar.
Won outgoing prizes for academic excellence at all levels.
Currently studying Classics at UCL with exceptional results in A Levels, including multiple A stars.
Teaching experience:
2 years of tutoring 11 plus and GCSE students.
- Former academic enrichment mentor during my A Levels, assisting younger students in my boarding house.
- Achieved top grades in GCSE subjects, including English Literature, English Language, History, Latin, and Ancient Greek.
-Strong reputation for effective communication and tailored teaching styles appreciated by students and parents.

About the lesson

My lessons will be interactive and I shall encourage reading. I aim to come up with innovative techniques during my lessons to make the lessons more engaging. I will als

My vast experience with exams would be passed down to my students.
Additionally, for more advanced levels such as GCSE, I will teach students to fine tune their essay technique, having gone through this process myself very recently I am well placed to coach others in how to consistently deliver high mark essays. I can also help with the GCSE coursework for both English and History.
My lessons will be an hour long as I believe after this stage it becomes harder to keep the attention of a student.

My Unique Selling Proposition: A genuine passion for English, History and Classics, coupled with a commitment to fostering a love for learning in my students. I maintain open communication with parents to ensure progress and adapt teaching methods as needed.
