About Allen
As a drum teacher with over three decades of drumming experience and more than a decade of teaching, I am deeply passionate about sharing the joy and power of rhythm with others. Teaching allows me to inspire students to discover their unique voice behind the kit, whether they're beginners exploring the basics or advanced players honing their craft. I strive to make each lesson tailored and engaging, ensuring that my students not only develop technical skills but also gain confidence and creativity.
I teach because I genuinely believe in the transformative impact of music. Drumming is more than just an instrument—it's a form of expression, discipline, and joy. Helping others find that connection and achieve their musical goals is immensely rewarding. Through one-to-one sessions and structured guidance, I aim to create a learning journey that’s as enjoyable as it is educational.

My Aim is to achieve several key objectives, allowing them to develop and grow their drumming skills.
1) Fundamentals - Mastering essential techniques such as proper grip, hand and foot coordination, timing and control.
2) Musicality -understand the role of drums in various musical styles and genre.
3) Technique Profeciency - improve technical skills to confidently execute different drumming patterns, fills, rudiments.
4) Song interpretation - Gain the ability to listen to the song and Identify the drum patterns and replicate them accurately.
5) Music Theory - understand basic music theory concepts relevant to drumming.
