About Rebekka

Hi, I'm Rebekka! I'm a professional sewing and fashion design instructor and fashion designer based in Los Angeles, and a native Mandarin speaker.

For over 10 years, I've taught sewing at Joann, where I developed curriculum and worked with students of every level — from absolute beginners threading a machine for the first time to advanced sewists creating their own garments. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and hands-on: I break every technique down into clear, manageable steps so you leave each lesson with real, usable skills.

I'm also a working fashion designer and a graduate of FIDM in business management, so I bring real industry knowledge into my lessons — from pattern drafting and garment construction to the business side of fashion for students dreaming of launching their own line.

Whether you want to sew as a creative hobby, make your own wardrobe, or build professional fashion skills, I'll meet you where you are and help you grow with confidence.
