About Marcius

Professor with more than 20 years of experience. Close and direct contact with the English language and its most influential cultures, having studied and worked abroad for almost 12 years; 8 of them in the United States and 4 in the United Kingdom. I did Cultural Exchange for the Lions Club International in high school in the state of Iowa-USA (Senior year). Later I took courses and worked in London, in Great Britain, with certificates FCE, ESOL and BEC of Cambridge in English proficiency for foreigners. Solid experience in bilingual writing, translation, editing and review of diverse materials for the academic areas, communication / advertising to the commercial and business sector, acting nationally and internationally. I have more than 20 years of teaching and consulting in English, using traditional and customized methods, for individual classes and in groups, "home" or "in company". Classes for all levels, including preparatory courses for executives and professionals from different sectors focused on professionalism, exams and conversation for fluency. I am familiar with the most advanced teaching techniques and methods on the market to introduce dynamic learning and teaching focused on optimal results.

About the lesson

Professor with long international experience in Anglo Saxon cultures and extensive experience, using the best and most efficient methods of teaching the language, at various levels. Educational materials, which I am familiar with, may be chosen from Cambridge, Oxford, Logman and Collins ELT publishers, purchased separately, widely available in bookstores and online stores. I am a versatile, dedicated and experienced professional with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. During my career I had the opportunity to instruct a wide variety of students from different backgrounds and faces of society, teaching understanding and conversation of the English language at the basic intermediate and advanced levels. As a result, I am a passionate teacher for what I do, which remains sensitive to the needs of young students and professionals, of all ages. I am always attentive, using effective listening, offering individual or group support, integrating aspects of multicultural teaching, and providing positive encouragement and reinforcement to keep students focused and motivated. One of the most effective ways I use to help English as a Second Language (ESL) students is to develop and deliver understandable and stimulating lesson plans that facilitate all learning styles. I research, localize, and incorporate a variety of resources to accommodate students through visual, audio, tactile, and kinesthetic methods. In addition, I integrate literature techniques, writing workshop, phonological activities and technology to ensure that each student can understand and retain concepts and language. My goal as a teacher is to promote and maintain an open, honest, communicative and supportive class in which each student feels secure, special, and properly challenged.
