About Felicity

I'm a voracious reader and grammar buff eager to share my love of learning with students! I recently graduated at the top of my class from Yale. There, I made Phi Beta Kappa my junior year, was named the best senior English major in the department, and won prizes for my critical essays in English and in French. Professionally, I've tutored in the New Haven Schools, translated for the U.S. Embassy in Paris, and published my poetry in The New Republic and The Yale Review.

About the lesson

I'm happy to work with students on anything related to reading, writing, or editing. I taught myself various tricks for the SAT and the ACT that I'd be delighted to share. I can teach conversational French to students in grades 9-12 and to adults. As a published poet, I can edit poetry manuscripts and give workshop sessions to aspiring young writers. Finally, I can discuss anything related to college admissions, as I successfully navigated that process not long ago.

I will tutor at the student's house or in a public area, as per arrangement. I know that things come up, so I have a very flexible cancellation policy.

I look forward to hearing from you and helping you achieve success!
