About Maedell
I taught elementary school for 39 years. I taught first and second grade. One year I taught third grade, which is a star testing grade. My students passed their test. My principal asked me to move back to first grade because I was a strong teacher. He said they needed strong teachers in 1st & 2nd.

I taught for 39 years. I enjoyed it. It was my passion and still is my passion today I think reading and writing is very essential, especially in this day and time when students read successfully it boost their self-esteem and knowledge, and that knowledge gives them power to do whatever they want to do in the future, I use different strategies that meets the students needs to become successful
