About Phillip
I am primarily an English Instructor & Communications Specialist who teaches at the university level. Throughout my life, I have been lucky to encounter a wide variety of jobs and experiences in fields ranging from physical labor to employee management to database entry. In my spare time, I play lots of disc golf, try out new music, television, and video games, and do a lot of writing. However, my greatest joy has always come from talking with others, learning new experiences, and helping others to understand deeper things about their personal and career desires.

I utilize a self-discovery-based teaching method rooted in providing real-world examples and interactions to help my students have faith in their abilities and understand how the skills being taught transfer to real-world and actionable situations.
Regarding reading and writing, I have a decade of experience and prior examples to utilize in teaching others how the reading and writing process works, as well as how to effectively meet the goals of the writing project.
Regarding life and job skills, I have experience in most job fields and the networking and communication knowledge to help others discover if a career path is right for them or understand how to begin entering a specific career field.
