I was a critical care nurse with extensive experience in diverse patient critical care settings. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Houston. I am a driven student who is able to work and maintain a 3.83 GPA. I often find myself helping my peers with their assignments. I am driven to merge my healthcare expertise with my engineering technical knowledge to contribute effectively in a multidisciplinary environment. I break down complex topics into smaller, manageable chunks, reinforcing key concepts through repetition and real-world examples. Additionally, I emphasize active learning by encouraging students to engage with the material actively, whether it's through discussions, practice problems, or teaching me what they’ve learned. I believe this approach boosts retention and encourages critical thinking.
