About Emily

I am currently pursuing my bachelor's in communication disorders, where I am developing a strong foundation in language development, literacy, and effective communication strategies. Since 2019, I have worked with children in various settings, gaining valuable experience supporting their academic and personal growth. My background allows me to understand how reading skills develop and how to support students who may need additional guidance. I am committed to creating structured, engaging lessons that strengthen comprehension, critical thinking, and confidence. I value professionalism, consistency, and clear communication with parents to ensure measurable progress and long-term success.

About the lesson

I provide supportive and engaging reading literature lessons designed to help elementary and middle school students grow in confidence and understanding. During our sessions, students strengthen reading comprehension, vocabulary, and critical thinking skills while learning how to discuss stories, understand characters, and identify important themes. I create a positive and patient learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing their ideas. Each lesson is personalized to meet your child's needs, ensuring steady progress and a stronger love for reading over time.
