About Ben
I actually started out teaching myself guitar way back in my freshman year of high school. Since then, I've gained experience playing just about anything - lots of acoustic pieces, fingerstyle guitar, and songwriting/composition, as well as electric riffs, entire solos, and the art of improvisation. I have experience playing the bass, piano, and drums as well. Most importantly, I have TWO released albums on YouTube, which we could listen to on your first lesson if you'd like :)

Pending your knowledge and comfort level, lessons could be structured in any of the following ways:
1. I could teach you everything from the basics - we'll start each class with a review of what we learned, then introduce a new musical concept and work on it until you're comfortable
2. You could come to class with some piece you'd like to learn, and we'll look it over together during our class time, deconstructing each part of the piece step by step
3. You could come to class with some song idea of your own, and we can work over it and figure out how develop that song
4. We could learn more refined skills (soloing, musical hearing, etc.), again step by step and at your comfort level
