I’m a college student studying English and Creative Writing, as well as secondary education and I enjoy helping others build confidence in subjects that can feel intimidating. I believe tutoring should be a conversation, not a lecture. My goal is to meet students where they are, figure out what is actually giving them trouble, and then work through it together in a way that makes sense to them. A typical lesson might involve breaking down a difficult reading, brainstorming and organizing an essay, revising a draft, strengthening an argument, or simply figuring out where to start when an assignment feels overwhelming. I’ll explain concepts in different ways until they click, rather than expecting students to understand something just because it was explained once. I specialize in English, literature, and writing, and I particularly enjoy helping students develop their writing while still keeping their individual voice. My lessons are for middle school, high school, and college students who want help with both academic writing and literary analysis. Most importantly, I want students to leave a lesson feeling like they actually can do the work themselves—not like they needed someone to do it for them.
