About Mohammad
I’m a student at St Ambrose College with a strong passion for languages, especially Latin and Greek. I’m fascinated by how language shapes the way we think and understand the world, and I enjoy helping others discover that same confidence and clarity.
I delivered a TEDx talk on translation and language, and I’m also the creator of The Lexicon Project, a tool designed to help students read and understand classical texts more easily. Alongside this, I’ve volunteered as an assistant Arabic teacher and currently help younger students as a peer maths adviser.
I want to teach because I know how frustrating it can feel when something isn’t explained clearly. My goal is to make learning calm, understandable, and encouraging, so students not only improve their grades but also feel more confident in their abilities.
I’m patient, supportive, and genuinely invested in helping each student succeed.

My lessons focus on helping students truly understand language. I teach GCSE Latin, Classical Greek and English literature. As a TEDx speaker and creator of The Lexicon Project, I specialise in making complex texts clear, structured, and approachable.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes and is tailored to the student’s goals, whether that is improving exam performance, building translation confidence, or developing deeper analytical skills. I break down grammar, vocabulary, and syntax step-by-step, and teach students how to think logically about language so they can work independently.
I have experience teaching Arabic to younger students and volunteering as a peer maths adviser, which has strengthened my ability to explain difficult concepts clearly and patiently.
My lessons are ideal for pre-GCSE students, beginners, and younger learners who want to build strong foundations, improve grades, and gain confidence.
