About Austin

I am an engineering student at UNLV and have played the viola at school since the sixth grade. During these classes it was often my responsibility to help individuals, and at times groups, with concepts they may have missed or simple inaccuracies. I have also co-taught at two local elementary schools as part of a chamber event.

About the lesson

Able to teach up to 12th grade. I will focus on the foundations of playing the instrument, based on student's current ability, before applying it to music that the student may have in class. Must have an instrument already. Based on background of the student, I will build a repertoire to help strengthen any weak spots, such as bow alignment or dynamics.
