About Rob

As a seasoned teacher, performer, and studio musician, my joy is sharing both the POWER and the BEAUTY of music with my audiences --and with my students. Guitar is such an ancient instrument--but capable of producing ALL the elements of modern music: Single notes--Chords--and Rhythmic Patterns... My students learn much more than "how to play..." They learn how to be MUSICIANS. Isn't THAT what you really want?

About the lesson

The Guitar is one of the most ancient instruments--and it is based on the elemental principles of Melody, Harmony and Rhythm that have been the foundation of music since our ancient ancestors discovered the power of vibrating strings... Whether you seek to compose, to play solo, or to work in a band, KNOWING the basics of music is essential--and the guitar is the perfect instrument for learning the principles of notation, rhythm and percussion

Robin

Rob is the best musician I know, both technically and artistically. He knows everything about music and can play anything. He can also improvise and transpose on the spot. Rob is also cheerful, kind and very patient with kids and adults alike. And you will never find a more reliable person who loves what he does.

I would not hesitate to recommend Rob as a guitar and ukulele instructor for anyone of any age.
