About Ollie

Completing an MS in Applied Mathematics at Cornell gave me a specific way of breaking down complex problems. Ever wonder if your brain just works differently than the textbook expects? I teach people who learn fast and those who prefer the scenic route.

Transitioning from industry to tutoring meant bringing my professional habits into the classroom. Sometimes these habits are helpful and other times they are just quirks.

If the internal subject examples fail to click for you, I pull from outside concepts to bridge the gap. Retakers and honors students often appreciate this unconventional perspective.

AP students and college applicants find that I am quite methodical in my delivery. High school students seem to value the clear and encouraging environment I create.

I do not sugarcoat the reality of test prep. My approach relies on consistency and logic rather than simple memorization. It remains a work in progress for all of us.
