About Debrah

Ever wonder why you feel tension when trying to hit those high notes? I started teaching because I once sat in your chair and needed someone to help me simplify the complex mechanics of singing.

I have helped 214 students find their voice by focusing on vibrato control and proper diction and articulation. We work hard on head and chest voice transitions while addressing stage fear management. Mastering belting technique and pitch control often comes down to simple breathing control. It is rewarding to watch a student realize that these physical skills are actually quite fun to master once the fear vanishes.

Your typical session feels like a casual conversation about the anatomy of your own voice. You will focus on how to bridge the gap between your natural range and your performance goals. My BFA Music Industry training informs how we address belting technique and breath efficiency during every single minute of our time together. I assign homework vocal drills after every session to keep your muscles engaged and ready for the next challenge.

We spend plenty of time on stage fear management because singing is as much about the mind as it is about the body. This structure helps you feel prepared for whatever stage or studio environment you step into next.
