About Laurel

My teaching experience includes working both on a campus and online. I have worked for Ohio University, and Hocking College, as well as many secondary schools. I have taught English as a second language, Freshman and Junior composition, Writing and Rhetoric, developmental reading and writing, speech, and professional writing for nurses. I especially enjoy helping students who may need a little extra time and attention.
As your tutor, you may expect patience and kindness, a strong work ethic, and a desire to help you succeed in your endeavors. I only ask that my students take their work seriously and bring their best efforts to learning. I really enjoy helping students reach their academic goals. Thank you for considering me as your tutor!
