I have been a teacher in Charlottesville city schools for 15 years, working with a range of ages and learning styles. I have an undergraduate degree in English and a Masters of Education in Reading. I can't wait to share my passion for writing, reading and understanding literature and language arts with your child.

I am currently working as a Gifted Resource Teacher in Charlottesville City, but was formerly a classroom teacher. I am warm, outgoing, gregarious, and relatable to kids. The most important thing about teaching is forming a relationship with your students, and making them feel heard and understood. After that anything is possible.
