About Tomas
I provide personalized lessons. Everyone has a unique relationship to music. I want to help my student find that special thing that connects them to music and create attainable weekly goals to build a profound and fun connection with their instrument.
Music is language that connects people and cultures. It's so satisfying to see the effect that music can have on a person. Playing an instrument can help grow and connect with our emotions.
I love the process of slowly building our craft, week by week, one step at a time, and before you know it you are playing a beautiful melody or chords that make a song!
I'm a Berklee College of Music graduate '14. I graduated with all honors in Contemporary Writing and playing multiple instruments. I have recorded, performed and toured for over a decade playing pop, rock, jazz, latin music and beyond.
I have more than 10 years teaching to all ages and I understand well what it takes to play an instrument. I'm an advocate of doing everything with passion, but I like staying realistic and grounded specially when it comes to the long process of learning an instrument.

Let's talk about music. What kind of music do you like? What kind of music would you like to play? Let's make realistic weekly goals that are stimulating and fun. We don't get good at something overnight. It takes daily dedication, patience and sticking to our goals. Anything is possible. Let your passion for music fuel the efforts one must do in order to improve.

“Lessons with Tomas were great. He’s patient, methodic, and very entertaining. His passion for music makes you want to learn and get better. I started from scratch and now I can play songs! Great guy, definitely recommend!”
Tomas is a great guitar instructor! He is very patient and enthusiastic about sharing his knowledge about the guitar and music theory, and he really makes classes fun and enjoyable. Plus, he is a very talented musician so I believe it is a great pleasure to be learning with him. I highly recommend him!
It was a warm, inviting, and approachable process for my beginner’s experience. I can now call myself a guitar player!
Enjoyed my time learning with Tomas. Dedicated and passionate teaching.
