About Haley

I love literature, poetry, and public speaking and want to help anyone who doesn't or may be struggling. I have an Honors Bachelor's of Science degree from the University of Oregon (major in Business Marketing and a minor in Journalistic Communications). I have lots of experience talking in front of large, diverse crowds, I was a student newspaper editors for several years, tutored throughout high school and college, was raised by a family of teachers, and helped produce student-written plays. I specialize in creative writing and classic literature, but love everything and anything English related. Let's talk!

I grew up in a family of teachers, and was taught a deep love for learning from an early age. Throughout high school and college this love turned to tutoring and coaching kids and students of all ages.

Let's talk about what you're struggling with, then why you are struggling with it. My goal is not just to help you get through a task, but to understand it. Then we can breakdown how we're going to tackle the project.

Find someone who really loves the material. The best teachers are those who are the most passionate about what they're teaching. That passion tends to rub off onto others, and can make even the most daunting work seem fun.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Just be honest, you're here to learn. Not knowing something is ok, and being upfront about it will help you learn faster and more effectively.
