About Stephanie

I've learned from two years of experience with young students that working with their stengthes and interests is the best way to help them learn. I want to help people self-learn and become curious about literature. I'm a writer with experience on YouTube and copywriting.

Taking the time to get to know the children I worked with made it really satisfying to help them achieve their goals.

I worked at a Kumon Learning Center for two years. I generally taught young children but worked with some teenagers as well. 

I also have some informal experience teaching SAT level composition and elementary Hebrew.

I would want to have a conversation with the parent(s) and student about what they are looking for. If the goal is to reinforce what the student is learning is school, I might take a more broad approach that factors in the school's curriculum. If there is a particular skill that the student needs to excercise, I can create lession that work for them using their interests and strengths.



I have worked with age 3-18 and I am pretty comfortable with that range.
