About WANDA

Hello, my name is Wanda and teaching is my passion. It requires great patience and effort to be able to teach. I am a native North American and a fluent English speaker with 16 years of experience working as a vocational coordinator, teaching, TESOL certified and a Forensic Psychology Major at John Jay College of Criminal Justice . I believe that I have acquired these qualities because teaching for me is not only a profession but a vocation and the experience I learned from tutoring students around the globe.

My personal philosophy for teaching is that I believe All students are unique and everybody’s learning style is different. People learn in their own way. I use many methods of teaching (linguistic, visual, auditory, kinesthetic) to achieve all of the student's goals so that no one is left behind.

Apart from teaching I enjoy researching the stock market, reading and traveling. I would like to invite you to join me in experiencing the fun in learning English. Let me help you in improving your communication skills in English and discover fun together.

The best part of my work and it actually brings tears to my eyes when a student is determined and overcomes an obstacle. This is an AWESOME experience to witness.

Teaching is my passion and to be honest I started teaching as a child with my dolls and siblings lol. I started out my career in the Human Services field as a Case Manager and part of my duties entailed facilitating groups and lectures and this was the part I loved. I also studied the stock market since 2014 and this is how the 3rd Gen Academy came about. While working as an Independent Contractor I contracted with a company called Cambly and begin teaching ESL classes and the stock market fundamentals globally.
