About EBRU

I am a passionate and patient native Turkish speaker. I was born and raised in the beautiful, historical city of Istanbul, where I currently live. I believe that learning a language should be an exciting journey into a new culture, not a stressful task.

My academic background is deeply rooted in history and culture. I recently graduated from Istanbul University's Faculty of Theology, and I am currently completing my master's coursework in Islamic Studies, specializing in Hadith at Sakarya University.

As a certified language expert holding a credential from the globally recognized Yunus Emre Institute, I know how to structure lessons effectively. But more importantly, I know exactly what it feels like to learn a new language from scratch! I traveled to Jordan and studied Arabic at the University of Jordan's Institute of Islamic Studies for a month and a half. Experiencing a foreign culture and language firsthand taught me how to be the most supportive, patient, and encouraging tutor for my students.

I love connecting with people from all over the world. In our lessons, you won't just learn vocabulary; you will discover Turkish hospitality, culture, and daily life directly from an Istanbul local. I create a safe and relaxed environment where making mistakes is celebrated—because that's how we learn best!

About the lesson
