About Nate

I am currently studying Politics and International Relations at university, having achieved an A in Edexcel A Level Politics. I have a strong grasp of both core content and essay structure, and I am comfortable working at an advanced analytical level. Politics is not only an academic subject for me but a long-term area of interest that I intend to pursue further through my degree. Alongside my studies, I have experience supporting teaching and learning through weekly work at my former primary school. While I recognise that A Level teaching requires a different depth and pace, this experience has helped me develop effective communication skills, an awareness of how students learn, and the ability to explain complex ideas clearly and confidently.

About the lesson

My lessons would cover essay plans on any A Level Edexcel Politics content the student is struggling with, or even to just discuss real-world political events that are relevant to the course (the more outside knowledge you have, the better you’ll be). My teachers have commended me on my understanding of essay structure as I know exactly what the exam board wants, so I could teach that in detail.
