About Marcos
I am currently looking for a tutoring opportunity during the crisis since we are not able to go to school.
I am a UH sophomore with an Associates Degree in Life Science from San Jacinto College. I started my education with a focus on science but I was not articulate enough with mathematics. Having taken calculus 1 and calculus 2 at UH has helped me tremendously with my math problem to the point where it was almost fun! I hope that I can create that same feeling with other students who have also struggled with mathematics.
I would like to change the perspective some students have about the school and how they are being forced to learn. I also would like to show students that being wrong is not a bad thing, everyone starts off being bad with mathematics and the only way to get better at it is to know what you are doing wrong.
UH has a program where instead of minoring in a subject you learn how to teach and become a teacher at other schools.

The student will tell me what they are reviewing in their normal classroom and I will ask what they are having problems with. I will NOT be doing their work but I will help guide them through it.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Not really a question but if you are slightly confused about something, please say it because not understanding something small in mathematics will snowball into not understanding the entire class and thus creating a gap from wanting to learn to having to learn.
