5 Things to look for in high-quality swim lessons 

Classes should never be larger than 4 students to 1 instructor

Don’t pay for lessons that rely heavily on playtime or swimming with flotation devices.

Make sure all classes have set goals, and that these goals are transparent to you

Make sure your kids can progress individually at their own pace and are not held back by a group setting. 

Make sure the school teaches real survival skills: Kids need to learn how to react in case of an accident, when they have no flotation devices or googles at hand
