About Larry

Shanti Yoga and Ayurveda is an nine year old community that was created to offer a welcoming, safe and supportive environment for students to embark on and sustain a Yoga and Ayurvedic Healing journey. Ayurveda is the sister science to Yoga. We offer Vinyasa Yoga, Prenatal, Ayuryoga and Iyengar classes with an emphasis on traditional teaching styles. We treat our classes as sacred space, providing the proper environment for education in Asana alignment, Yoga Philosophy, Chanting, Pranayama, Meditation, Ayurvedic Consultations, Marma Therapy, Shirodhara and more. Larry Mangel, our Ayurvedic Practitioner, is a professional member of NAMA, the National Ayurvedic Medical Association.



At SY&A we whole-heartedly believe that every student begins their practice exactly where they need to be in order to step into their own Yoga destiny. Yoga has the possibility for health and healing, as well as deep personal transformation beyond the body. It is with that belief in mind that we offer many levels and options for classes including: Vinyasa Yoga for all levels; Vinyasa Yoga for beginners, Prenatal Yoga, Ayuryoga, Iyengar Yoga, Yin Yoga and Yoga Teacher Training.

Shanti means peace. Yoga means union or unity. Ayurveda means Life Science.
