About Loretta
"Teaching exists because I enjoy watching music come to life in others. Honestly, my 11 years of experience playing in 6 bands and touring the New York metro area taught me more than any classroom ever could. I release my own music and play shows constantly.
Real tone problems and songwriting shortcuts are where I focus my energy. Having worked with hundreds of students, I know exactly how to handle gear issues. You get the benefit of that chaotic, rewarding journey of releasing 4 records directly in our time together."

"Composition requires a guitar that functions as a tool rather than just a performance prop. Everything we do here stems from my BA Modern Music background to simplify complex ideas.
Tuning and maintenance are vital. Electric technique defines your sound.
We work through ear training and chord transitions until those blues progressions feel like second nature. It is practical work. I offer a free trial session to assess your starting level. You will finish playing music."
